Blog post:
Were at the point of filming a little more but I think we need to start taking visits to MTN so we can start getting our final project together.
Reading Response:
This poem was very different and deep. I like poems like this just because they have deep understandings. This poem was just about the different kinds of humans living on this god green earth. And how people today criticize so much just because there not the same as them. People go from judging by the way someone walks, to how they talk, to how they dress, and even who they hang with. Categorizing people has been around from years and maybe if people took time to learn there and others cultures/ backgrounds it wouldn’t be this big misunderstanding

BLOG #9 Defending Freedom And Freedom Of Speech
Blog post:
Lately our group has been distant, but I know Fatima been telling me the ideas of what we need to film next. Fatima checked out a camera Friday so now we should be filming very soon.
Reading Response:
This article made me think of freedom of speech and not be able to express my opinions. I think not being able to have my opinion, and to follow one source of media is crazy. In this reading they mention that even though we here in America have the right and freedom to express ourselves, many of us don’t and that because were either scared of what others might say or were following some sort of trend and scared of society. This is truly sad when the ones who have the freedom don’t use it as much as we probably should. Everyone deserves freedom, no matter what.

BLOG #7 A BED FOR THE NIGHT (Bertold Brecht)
Blog post:
We have allot of footage we just need to cut allot of it down and put everything together. Most of our work is interviews so I hope it doesn’t bore everyone.
Reading Response:
Someone that made a meaningful social change is Oprah she is one lovely person that inspires me. She grew up with a very poor family. In which so poor that her mom gave up her sister for adoption because she knew she wasn’t going to be able to feed her whole family. Oprah is the most giving and loving person today. She visits and gives to Africa. Every time she has a show everyone in the audience is getting something for free. She supports cancer, homeless, starving children, families in need, just about everyone you can think of. I watch Oprah every chance I get if I’m at home from 4:00 P.M to 5:00. what strikes me the most is no one has to tell Oprah to give her money away we all know she's rich and famous, with no kids, a husband, and a couple nieces and nephews. She could be greedy and just be sitting on all that money, but instead building schools and caring for others.

BLOG #8 A Gift Of Love (Martin Luther King Jr.)
Blog post:
Our group trailer turned out really good. It wasn’t showing in class do to some issues, but we got it done. Our topic gets more interesting every time we interview someone. Allot needs to be finish and we have to find some editing time. Sometimes it gets difficult because we all have our own schedules and we barely have time out of school to work on the project.
Reading response:
Everyone in the first paragraph that Kings remembers was black and was innocent, but someone chose to bother them and some sort of rude way. In my mind the "truly open city for all" is Chicago were everyone is non- violence, and approaching one another with respect. Such as Marching, sing, and mainly just cooperating together as one with no problems. I liked this piece of reading it was interesting. It was mainly of King helping out young powerful men who doesn’t know much and is some sort gang related. All they know is violence and King informs them that "physical force can never solve the underlying social problems" and promises them by proving them wrong.
